We Divided Three Part To Drive Out Carpenter Ants In House.
Part 1 of 3: Finding the nest
1. Make sure that you are dealing with is the ant instead of termites. Carpenter ants is large insects black or dark brown with three body segments and six legs. This Carpenter ants has a bent antenna. Worker ants are not winged, while reproductive ants have wings. Ants tend to run in long lines. Termites, which is a problem far worse than ants, have straight antennae and light-colored body.
2. Note fras. Fras is a sawdust-like material that is left behind when the ants hollow out wood to create nests. Fras containing body parts and debris, but it will basically look like a pile of wood shavings light. If you see this around the house, it's a sign you're facing an ant problem.
3. Note the wood damage. The wood used as ant nests have gaps or holes. Usually fras also scattered nearby. Ants prefer to nest in walls, hollow doors, cabinets, poles, and rafters. Find the area of moist wood, because the ants like to build nests in moist wood.
4. Fishing with bait near the ant. You must fishing bait for ants to find the nest, and then follow their trail back to the nest so that you know exactly where ants hide. Put a piece of melon or other sweet fruits are very small near where you are sure the ant nest.
5. Follow the trail of ants back to the nest. When the ants eat the bait, follow them back to the nest. You may see ants creeping into the room on the walls, cabinets, or door. Follow along until you are sure where the ant nest is located. If the nest visible and accessible, you can destroy the nest of ants in the next step. If the nest is hidden and hard to reach, you may need to use a poisonous bait to kill the ants. Poison takes about three days for the effect to work.
Part 2 of 3: Abolish Population Ants
1. Use the method of poisoned bait. This method is best to use if the ant nest hidden or inaccessible. Use the poisoned bait to lure the ants out of the nest; ants will bring it back to the nest, and in about three days ants will be poisoned. Buy some poisonous ant gel bait timber, and then mixed with a spoonful of sugar and a dollop of milk. Place the bait near the place where you might expect to live ants. Wait until the ants come out and take the bait.
It's important that you use bait works slowly. If the poison directly kill the workers that are still on the way back to the nest, thousands of ants that are still in the nest will not be affected. Choose a feed which takes about three days to work. [1]
Do not spray the wood ant path that you see with insecticide. It will not harm the ants are still waiting, and make ant sense danger that spreads to build a nest more. [2]
If there are pets or small children, tamper-proof bait boxes (aka tamper-resistant temple stations) is a safer option to remove the toxic bait.
2. Destroy the nest with powder. This method is effective when you can easily access the nest and ant powder sprinkled directly to the queen ant and the entire colony. Select ant powder and follow the instructions on the package to sprinkle the powder into the nest.
Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring toxic powder that can be used to kill ants timber without spreading poison in your home.
Chemical powders such as Delta Dust and Dust Insecticide Pest Drione also effective, but toxic and health risks for pets and children.
3. Use boric acid bait.
You can buy boric acid at garden supply stores.
Combine the powdered sugar, with a ratio of about 1/3 to 2/3 sugar boric acid.
Fill the bottle caps with mixture. Sprinkle around the area ant looks.
When the ants back to the nest, this poison will kill the ants in the nest. Boric acid to penetrate the body and dissolve in the body of the ant.
Part 3 of 3: Prevent Ants Wood Back
1. Clean your house so it does not become a breeding ground for wood ants. Clean the floor well, fix a leaky faucet that may wet the wood, and clean the messy areas that could be a shelter for ants.
2. Seal leaks in the house. Use putty to seal cracks in the foundation and around doors, windows, and any other area where the entry of ants into the house. Set sail on the windows and doors.
3. Clean the natural dirt from around the house. Prune tree branches that do not depend directly on top of the house. Remove weeds, leaves, wood piles, and other natural dirt adjacent to the house and can grow ant populations.
4. Clean up crumbs and leakage. Ants need sugar, protein and water resources to survive. This prevents all of the ant is the best way to prevent rampant ants in the house. Keep floors and tables at home free of crumbs and wipe spills, especially sugary spills. Fix leaking taps and make sure there is no water in the area.
